African Americans were originally enslaved, then lynched, and are still otherwise oppressed.

Nativism has periodically inspired discrimination or worse against immigrant minorities throughout our history.

This is an American, and actually a human, characteristic. It is more widely apparent today, in part because of pervasive channels of communication. Unfortunately, those same communication channels also facilitate the dissemination of Nativist ideology, or Replacement Theory.

That’s not an explanation or rationalization; it’s a warning.
